Effect on UK Nationality- Exclusion order issue

Post by burney1970 » Mon Aug 12, 2013 5:01 pm

My Friend is due for UK nationality next year March 2014. But he has problem that recently he was give an exclusion order by Debehams as they suspected he was trying to do someting which according to them was illegal.

He actually bought an item from Debehams and then went around the store looking for something else. According to him he had by mistake put another item in the debenhams shopping bag. And not knowing the item was in the bag, security staff blamed him for this activity. He never went outside the store.

Nothing happened as there was now arrest made or police was involved. Bu Debenhams have now sent an exclusion order to him and he can never visit the Debehams Store again.

My question is will this exculsion order efect his UK Nationality case or not. Considering taht no Police was involved and will this effect the CRB record or not.

Thanks

No it won't. Your friend can challenge this order by writing to Debenhams head office.

UK nationality Effec- Exclusion order

Thanks for the reply.

But if my friend challenges Debenhams can this lead to any further conflict. Considering the sensitivity of The UK nationality do you think he should challenge them.

Thanks

No it should not if he didn't commit an offence.

UK Nationality- Exclusion order

Thanks for the reply.

I will inform my friend to take up the matter with the Head Office Debenhams, as this whole issue will not effect his UK Nationality.

Thanks Amber.
