Please check whether I have done right

Post by immirams » Mon Aug 26, 2013 10:53 am

Hello,

I logged into the UKBA website and realised there were lots of slots available and I booked one.

Here are my details, if any of the senior member could assure me (if anything not right, I still have time to cancel the appointment) about the appointment date (28 day rule) and the type of application form etc I would be grateful.

My work permit expires 1 Nov 2013
My entry stamp 3 Nov 2008

I got an email with this confirmation

Appointment Date: Mon 07 Oct 2013
Application form I am using to make my application - Set (0)
Category of leave I am applying for - Tier 1 (General)
Application fee - £1426

Please note that I am on work permit. I was talking to one of my colleague who got his few weeks ago. He said he need to ring the UKBA day after and pay for the cancellation fee. I am certain now they have taken payment from my credit card. Am I all done here with only thing is getting the application from filled correctly.

Thank you in advance

If you are a WP holder, then you should not be selecting "Tier 1 (General)" under "category of leave I am applying for"!

If WP is not listed, then the closet match is Tier 2. Is there a "others" category?
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Oh no!!!! How do I change. Do I need to cancel my appointment and 're-book. I logged into the UkBa website but not able to do anything.

You should be ok as Set(o) is correct and the fee is the same.

Another Question - When booking an appointment I haven't used my middle name, as the option was only for given name but not given names and family name. Can anyone please clarify this - Thanks
