Following the implementation of new rules, both of you should be able to switch without having to leave the UK.

As bruteforce has stated:

You may switch to Tier 4 if you are eligible.

Eligible dependant may switch from 1 Oct 2013.

Dependent visa

Post by Cnice » Sat Sep 14, 2013 12:47 pm

Am wondering how long we may have to hold our maintenance fund before applying. For the point base (tier 4) applicant I know it is 28days but what about the dependant . Any valid idea will be useful

Reading the policy guidance will be helpful and you won't have to seek valid ideas.
