So what i comprehend from what u r saying is that If a person is single, free and dependent on his mother or even has his own assets, and if he is not married then he can't go to UK unless he has a valid reason for the visit!?Lucapooka wrote:It's not about your sister or mother sponsoring your financial necessities; they could be millionaires for all that it matters. It's about you as an individual having no ties and a high-risk profile. You are young, free, single and without any commitments. You also live in a part of the world from which many prefer to emigrate - even those with good ties!. What do you have to go back to? What is your motivation not to simply remain in the relative comfort of the mature welfare state that is the UK where you will find family, friends, happiness, opportunity, and perhaps even security? Your convincing answers and provision of suitable evidence in response to those questions must be addressed in your next application.
Your quest would be much easier were it not for the fact that huge numbers of your peers, in the same situation, have not returned having said they would. There is, therefore, also the matter of stigma and suspicious scrutiny to overcome when applying from a location that is considered a high-risk by the immigration authorities.
You might be right about a farmer's son, but my father was a serving 19 grade civil servant when he died... Maybe my father being not alive might also have some affect in the decision of ECO.Ayyubi72 wrote:Yes plenty of middle class pakistani students are granted visit visas, but there is more to it.
ECO's do understand, and have some good insight and training into every country's culutre and how the society operates there.
A middle class student, whose father is a bank manager, or a middle to high ranking civil servant or army officer is much less likely to live illegally in UK compared to farmer's son (even if educated) with no liquid regular and somewhat substantial cash income.
