Marriage with UK Citizen from Tier 1

Hi Guru's

Miss ABC got HSMP (GENERAL) in 2011.She got the HSMP extension in Jan 2013.So this way she is on 3rd year of HSMP General. Now she got a marriage proposal from a British citizen who is working in GULF on permanent Job.

If miss ABC get married with that person who is working in Gulf on permanent basis then what will be the exact status of immigration will she have?

-Can she ask for british citizenship after getting married to a British guy even after living abroad in Gulf?

-What will be the exact status of her HSMP TIER-1 (GENERAL) if she left UK to gulf?

-Can they both stay in UK whenever they come to UK after getting married as she will be traveling with her husband who is British citizen?

-When will Miss ABC be able to apply for British Citizenship if get married with above mentioned British guy ?

She may return to the UK while she has valid leave and her circumstances under Tier 1 (General) has not changed. However, if she left the UK for longer than six months, then her continuous residence for ILR under Tier 1 (General) will be broken (245AAA).

She may return to the UK with her husband as the spouse of a British citizen, if eligible. But her qualifying period for ILR under spouse status will be reset.

ILR is required for British Citizenship.
