Currently I am working under TIER2 ICT Long term Leave to Remain Visa in UK. I will be eligible for ILR Apr 2014. From 28 October 2013, in order to qualify for indefinite leave to remain, it has mentioned that all applicants should meet the below criteria:
• passing the Life in the UK test,
And one of the following language qualifications:
• having a speaking and listening qualification in English at B1 level or above of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR),or
• having a degree that was taught or researched in English, or
• being a national of an English-speaking country.
I have completed my engineering degree in Pondicherry University, India and my spouse completed B.Pharm in Tamlinadu Dr. MGR University, India. As per my understanding, passing the life in UK would be sufficient since the degree was taught in English. Can you please anyone advice my understanding is correct or do we need to complete the course in English at B1 level?
Or any other document do we need to produce for this?
