Hello everyone, I just got my CoS approved. I think this month is a good month. I'm on the shortage list and I got refused in November,December, and January ..I didn't post my refusal responses in those months this is because I didn't want to discourage people because shortage occupation should not experience that kind of delay. I know everyone will smile eventually. SOC is 2217.
What was the reason for resfusal?
They always just said they were overwhelmed with applications.

The reason may be that our RLMT is very straightforward. There is one website all the hospitals use to advertise so it is easy for them to verify that it has been done correctly. Since there are many of us on the same group we are able to pass along information quickly (which may not be the same for other professions). Also junior doctors salaries range from 30k to 50k so they cover most of the spectrum of mid-low earners. And I am only giving updates on junior doctors who are on the non shortage occupation list. Our group does not have any nurses in it.

Guys last month we received updates only after 2 days now the first day itself it means tomorrow the time for people with below 50 points great signs.
Thanks,
Kiccha
I wouldn’t read too much into this. I know of some people that got their approvals on the day of the allocation last month. Just because they didn’t post here doesn’t mean they weren’t giving out updates as fast as this month.

This article says that there has been a big push to have NHS employees exempt from the cap.
Only sensible solution I think because it helps the health service and patients while at the same time leaving more spots in the quota for other businesses if the NHS is taking up a third each month.
If it did end up happening though it’s not going to effect this month’s quota but maybe come April.

Nope Kiccha, my sponsor told it is still flagging 'under review'. I score 45 or 50 points.
What is yours?

Mine is just 42. 45 points are enough for this month as the cutoff for last month was 46. You shouldn't be worried much on this.
Plabber said 43 got approved for Non SoC, however we don't know whether HO has decided to prioritise NHS staff.
Thanks,
Kiccha

I’m actually not sure if my application has been re-submitted for this round. HR at my company are extremely difficult to reach and they only told me that my January application was refused about a week ago haha lucky for this board or I wouldn’t have even known my application was going to get rejected.
Seems an interesting process this month though. An application at 43 accepted and a 45-50 still pending. I guess they might already know that 43 will be fine this month so they don’t need to allocate in order for those they know will reach the cut off score.

Hi everyone,
I feel they have started to consider the December and January refused cases first.
my employer got a e-mail to saying that as your applications is refused for last 2 months, send the details of the applicants and theirs roles.
I think December and January rejections will be given exceptions this month. Lets see

That won't be the case if am correct by that scenario nobody from this month will get the COS and that doesn't make sense for points based system. If there is any exception that's is for NHS.
Thanks,
Kiccha
