Hey guys

I've been silently following this board for a long time. Today I received an email from the Home Office confirming that they've granted me Leave to Remain for 2.5. This was in response to an email I sent to their complaints mailbox over the delay. I applied in June 2017 as Parent of British Child. I had been an overstayer since March 2005!

I'm so Happy. God is great!!!

For those of you still waiting, hang in there, you're next in line.
Congratulation mate .
If you dont mind can you please share what did you write in your complaint mail .

Thanks
First of all congratulation for your success
Would you mind please to mention what complaint mailbox you have used to chase up your application
Thanks in advance

Applied FLR-FP based on british wife and british child
Date submitted: 04 May 2017
Biometrics done: 14 June 2017
Additional docs requested: NONE

My solicitor sent chase up letter twice last Nov 2107 and feb 2018. No response from home office. This April we sent complaint letter addressed to Complaints allocation Hub of Home Office which they replied after 20 working days, they emphasized that due to complexity of my case they cannot tell us when the decision will be made. Last friday 20th of april I rang home office once again and ask for update, the guy that i talked to informed me that they will get back to me after 5 days.

Just today I received email from UKVI that a package has been dispatched with reference tracking number from royal mail. Fingers crossed that this good news. im quite excited and nervous at the same time. Good luck to everyone of us that is still waiting.

hello, all people I am glad seeing some people post here they got their visas.
some of the people may be unlucky like me. but we won't give up inshallah and my best wishes with those who are waiting for the positive outcomes of their applications.

I done everything proper never been overstayed at all put my applications on time. genuinely married to my British wife on the permission of the home office.
I applied last year in April application refused on 15th of December 2017. they served the decision on 6th of March 2018 during I was reporting. they hold me for few hours but later on, they released me on bail.and been told me the office you got 7 calendar days seek legal advice.
I applied in the form of FLRO FP as a married partner on 12th of March 2018.my next reporting according to their new bail paper was 3rd of april. but I go a text message by 16th of march for reporting on 20th of March 2018.my wife took me there to Croydon office.they told me you got a short interview. I told them I am feeling you detaining me officer said no no.
the interview was done and then the officer said we detaining you and your flight is tonight to Pakistan.it was around 4/5pm and she said please seek legal advice. I said to her is it make sense what is the time you telling me we are sending you tonight and what solicitor firms is open now?she said I don't care.
they received my application by 12th of March and refused it on the 19th of march without acknowledgement and biometrics. even didn't take application fees from the account i am so pleased and glad save my wife money and this is the only one thing i am happy they didn't take money.

one of the rude Asian officer I seen in my life the first time. but I am sure karma will get them one day and I am still positive.well long story but I said to them I got the problem back home they deferred my flight and accept me as an asylum seeker.on 28 of March, they released me on bail and told me to appear for the screening interview.
well, my solicitor received an acknowledgement letter and biometric letter on 23rd of April which they already refused my application on 19th of March.
so they mishandled my application. I don't want anything I just want to go to court and wanna tell to the judge what I have done wrong I want to know and what rules I didn't qualify.
the main reasons were apparently I am not married we didn't see any proof. silly reasons they raised but I am positive.

just all of these crap I went through put me in high depression I am not able to do anything. my life is more tough and hard this is what I think

I have been following this forum for long time. I am sharing a issue with all of you which causing me a huge anxiety & stress.
I have been reporting since 2015. I got married with an English lady after getting the permission from the Home office in August 2017 & put a FLR FP application. It has been almost 7 months but haven’t got any result perform biometric request letter. I never missed any reporting & also never got any reminder sms for reporting from the Home office. Today I got a reminder sms for my scheduled upcoming reporting day what is due next week. So,my question is, is it a sign they could try to detain me when I go for reporting? or it’s a change to their system to remind everyone ? Has anyone get same sort of reminder for their upcoming reporting?
It’s really stressing me out. I look forward to get your sugesssion.....
