I think october2010 (not sure if this user name is right) also took three months before they heard the outcome of their appeal. The only thing is that theirs was UT and not FT.Ems1927 wrote:Hellofavour wrote:Ems1927 wrote:Over three months since our appeal and still no decision! The wait is crazy. Yes we call everyday they just say the case is still with the judge never any other information.. Has anyone ever heard of anyone with a case decision taking so long?
[/quote]priscaltony wrote:It will actually depend on your case and how the judge view it. Do you have a solicitor or are you representing yourself?
It is really tough now for anyone to predict outcome of out of rules application.
I saw your other post on 10 years forum, so on this note, may I ask why you were not given a right of appeal?
="JOHFR2014"]Good afternoon, my friends and other board members, i will be grateful and glad if someone can help with my query,i am a silent member of this forum but i need urgent help concerning my FLR(FP) based on 7year rule/private life which was refused recently without right of appeal. We are planning to go for judicial review. We applied as a couple ,two of my children have leaved continously in UK for more than 7 years as at the time the application was submitted. Do we have a winning case if proceed on judicial review because it seems most people on these forum got their visa after going through judicial review?
many thanks, your urgent reply will highly be appreciated

Congratulations Crystal thats great news to hear.. I pray that Dapsonlee, Believe and others recieve some good news before xmas.CrystalNewbie wrote:@kukuwife...congratulations are in order and all the best for the future. I had my hearing on the 7th of November, the judge allowed our appeal, we have waited for the prerequisite five days (now ten) and have heard nothing from home office in terms of appeal, so just waiting to see what they give us. I must say your experience @kukuwife and others ( Believe, Dapsonlee, Nilemarque, Hatchsead, Shondra sharma, Mrolaolu, rina, verbina,lily123, favour, winners, time503, and Godgives among others) was very helpful in preparing for the hearing. All the best to all and will update after we receive our papers. Merry xmas to all.

bsmith13- as I understand it if JR is refused on paper you have the opportunity to re-apply for oral hearing. If he has a legal advocate I think they should apply as soon as possible if not let the person seek legal help because from here it start getting technical and with a good advocate you can secure oral JR. However, if you have the time and the know how it can be done by yourself.bsmith13 wrote:Hello everyone, hope u all are doing great? Would like to ask please, when a judge refuses JR on paper and he believes its totally without merit, what's the next option for the person to take and does that mean the person has no chance again? However I read it online that's the new system the government is adopting in order to get rid of many people.
And another question I would like to ask is that someone was given permission to apply for JR but after the hearing the case was dismissed even though she has most of her close relatives in the Uk including her son and daughter who are both settled here and she has her only sister her too with her family and other extended family members but they believe she can go back to her home country. In this kind of case, what should be done, so she go for an appeal or what? Apparently this person used to have her indefinite but she lost it and the government were the reason why she overstayed as they told her to wait for her case to be sorted as she was a victim of identity fraud but after the case only her N I has been returned since. Please what can she do to. Kindly help. Thank u

bsmith- your solicitor must have missed one or two issues for the JR to be refused both on paper and even not allowing oral JR. I think the advices to get yourself a barrister is right. Kindly consider itbsmith13 wrote:Thanks Kukuwife, based on the first case, the judge believed the case has no merit and didn't give a chance to apply for oral hearing so the solicitor advised that we should seek for permission for oral hearing but however, I've been contact with different solicitors who advised me not to use a solicitor again but a barrister and I should start all over afresh. Or what do you think, the case is based on the fact I came here as a child at the age of 13 with no relatives back home and I've spent 12 years here
