Hi there,Zebrudaya wrote:Congratulations to you Lcity. Your success has given us hope and the drive to continue to regularise our stay. Please when did you arrive to the UK and also what documents did you send to them? I have read the previous posts but I believe a new post by you now that you are "free" will be more informative etc. Thank you.

I would like to know how did you guys produced in order to sit life in uk test.
Did all of you use lawyer and how crucial do you think is to use a lawyer for this application and how much cost should one expect to pay fo this type of application.
Thank you.
I got my stuff back.I was denied on ILR but have been granted 3 years discretionary Leave to Remain. It is good news for me as I am legal. UKBA state that there had been a removal notice in 2007 hence the reason to deny ILR.Kid DXL wrote:Application sent: 12/10/11

I was granted DLR because my partner is british and we are due to get married this year. I did not know about the removal notice until I got this application back so there was nothing I could do about the notice. The UKBA have said that the removal notice stopped the clock in 2007 so I do not have 14 years. Other than that, I had a strong application as I have benn working continously for 7 years in a professional company and produced alot of evidence on all points of the application.Kid DXL wrote:I got my stuff back.I was denied on ILR but have been granted 3 years discretionary Leave to Remain. this thread is for timelines only. if you want to ask another question best to start a new topic.zagoo2000 wrote:yeah, you are right. in 2 months it will be 14 years but i will not be able to apply for ILR because my clock was stopped at 2007 (with removal instructions) even though i was granted DLR on 2010. I have to now wait until i finish the initial 3yrs + 3yrs of extension of DLR to become eligible to apply for ILR or unless i marry to british citizen isn't it? are there any other ways for me? :'-/
