If your payslip is upto 20th of March 2015 and you did your online application on the 19th of April 2015 and handed it in on the 27th of April 2015, then even the earlier date is beyond 28 days.

Would have been better if you did online statement upto 16th March 2015 and then printed out the addition transactions upto say 2nd of April when you would have got your payslip.

Hey everyone

When I applied online 28th March my husband last wage slip was from Feb 27th which was within 28 days of online and I submitted on 2nd April and alhamdulillah my visa was granted so all I can say is like I was told by lawyer and everyone else 28 day rule is from online and not biometric

Sent an email for update,No record found ,its 9th week though
Did they specifically say no record found ?? As in incorrect GWF number ??
Or did they state no update yet
If possible paste parts of the email
its not exactly no record found,it same standard email either gwf is wrong or you applied recently
That can't be correct as looking at your post you applied 9 weeks ago.

I would suggest email them again and specifically ask why there is no record or update and state when and where you applied.

Sometimes they don't log updates onto system and yet people still get an email once everything is processed but that's chance which I wouldn't expect you to take just incase there is an issue.
Hi

i had this email in response to my update request on 27th may 2015

With regards to your query, please provide us the following information so
that we can expedite the case:

Full name of applicant:
Application number (GWFxxxxxxxxx):
Date of birth of applicant:
Visa application centre reference number:
Date of application:
Place of application ( City and Country ):
Type of Visa applied:

Passport Number:

i provided with all details on same day but i was sent following response:

Reply 2:

Dear xxxxxxxx

Thank you for contacting the United Kingdom Visas and Immigrations
International Enquiry Service.

Please be aware we have service standards for processing UK visa
applications which state that we will process: 95 per cent of settlement
applications within 12 weeks of the application date and 100 per cent
within 24 weeks of the application date. Each application is assessed
individually and processing times may vary, hence applicants are requested
to be patient and wait for the processing to be completed.

Please may you clarify what is the reason that you wish to expedite the
visa process, as you have only submitted an application on 10th April 2015.

not really sure what to say now as they asked for the details which i provided and they said why do you want us to expedite.

i also spoke to the call centre people and they had a same reply that it can take upto 24 weeks,12 weeks are not guaranteed

Another quick question you know this whole having to
Submit with 28 days of the last financial whatever
Is that the online application or the supporting documents as well?
It's date of online application to be precise if you check their guidelines it does state you can cross reference if you want on expat forums.com where this has already been discussed fully

thanks i feel better knowing that. thanks

I had all my 26 payslips by the online date which was 2nd April
But I also added my 27th payslip after the online date
But requirement is only 6 months which is 26 let's hope
Eco count the payslip and doesn't count the last one
As 26

Just a note that not everyone that has submitted an application in pakistan is using this forum so timelines posted on here give us an idea on roughly what applications have been processed but that's going by a mixture of dates and by all means that could mean they may already been in april by a week.
every case is different and some get delayed for many reasons.

Just thought it's worth mentioning so that people can always stay on alert just incase the eco ever does call to request info and that it doesn't catch you by surprise.

Chances of them phoning or contacting u to
Confirm or ask for further info are very rare

Was saying just in general terms that people shouldn't solely be disheartened that it's taking forever with their cases by looking at others rejections or acceptance.

I was just saying that they could be well into looking at files of April but if we had to go by timelines then it would seem they are still on end of march.

I think that they would be generally looking at the end of March applications at this stage and if you are lucky maybe even start of April. With the rest of applications for April and start of May they have probably started pre assessment enquires.

I think the figures peaked in 2009 but have fallen since then. One the one hand they are opening more visa centres in India and saying come to UK we want you and will even fast track you, but on the other hand we have hysteria about immigration.

If seems that a lot of foreign students are going elsewhere for their studies and student numbers to the UK have fallen quite drastically.
