10 years long residence applications

It looks like HO become bit slow to make dicisions. Last few days we haven't seen much approvals and also forum goes very quite as well.

I been told that my application is with the case worker. I don't know how long he or she will take to make a dicision but hope for the best.

Called the Home Office today & the guy on the phone advised me that they are considering applications posted in December. He couldn't give any direction as to when January applications would be considered.

To all those who are wondering about my wife's visa (Applied- 29/08/14), she still hasnt got her decision yet.. believe it or not!

We wrote to MP, who got a reply from HO that verification of her documents is taking long, which I believe is totally BS as the documents she sent were really only in her LIUK test and university degree. So I do not understand how can few documents take THAT long to verify. They also said that they aim to reply to wife by May 2015.

Very very frustrating especially when my documents were identical to hers, same uni, same date , same centre for LIUK test etc and I have got my decision in Feb (I applied 22.09.14)

The MP has written further to ask what verification they are waiting for and why is it taking this long, but unfortunately the response time of HO is around 20 days so STILL WAITING

Wondering have you or your wife applied through Tier1 Ent. visa? have you had approval on in Tier 1 Ent before applying ILR?

Yes, our last visa were ent visa, however with ILR we both applied individually as we both qualify on our own.
Even with ent visa we applied seperately but as a team.
Strangely, I have received my decision and we both have identical timeline and visas

Have you and your wife got Ent visa approval before applying for ILR. I have a strange feeling that HO playing around with some Ent. files (lost/investigating). Even they are not replying adequately the status of the application or reason for delay. if they do not reply MP letter I might go for official complain.

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone has heard about a same day service starting from April 2015 to apply for the ILR under the 10 year category. My work has agreed to sponsor my visa under the current category and put me in touch with an immigration advisory agency. They have let me know that it's hot off the press the the UKBA will be starting same day applications again from April 2015 for this category. This makes my life a lot easier since I was worried I'd have to give my passport up for a few months and I have to travel for work.

But, I can't find any reference to such an announcement or anything on the UKBA website. Any ideas on this one? I can't have been told wrong information since the immigration service is a very reputable large firm who have been operating with my company (also a large multinational - hence the capability for a visa sponsor)

Sick of calling home office just call them guy said your application with case worker ,we are dealing with December application plz continue to wait , any body have idea how long the case worker need time to make decision I been told last 3 weeks my application with case worker???
