Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

Hi Guys

Alhamdulillah, my wife's visa was granted today.

I was very worried in regard to the application, as I had not provided pay slips or bank statements, just my employment contract. I had also not provided any communication proof.

We are ecstatic with the news, and I pray for all of you to have the same news as us.

It is a very very long wait, but I would suggest emailing and sending letters to BHC on a weekly basis.

I can't belive it. My wife just got her RFC. I am so nervous its unreal. The status has changed online saying ready for collection. Can anyone tell me who she needs to call to arrange for collection and if you have a number.
Please do duaa the visa is approved.

She just needs to go to the visa application centre that she applied from between 2-3pm i think you have until 5pm to collect it. all the best my duas are with u.

Online status changed today for collection Alhumdullilah... will Inshallah collect tomorrow. Please do dua visa is granted.

Sorry this may be a stupid question but does she go to the Islamabad application where she submitted the paperwork and wait in the queue from 2.00pm onwards or does she need an appointment.

Cong Liaba i have the same tiem limit as you have from karachi but i ev not receive any RFC as i am waiting it all day but i hope inshallah i will have in couple of days with visa.

Yes she will have to wait in the queue and she does not need an appointment for collection.

salam to all but can anyone tell me i have heard of all the people who applied upto 5 july getting reply and visa granted whens 6 july gonna finally have their turn. also everyone who applied around me has recieved visa and some are arriving. inshallah i will get something.

i just wanted to congratulate all who have recieved their visas im happy you can finally start your married lives. Aslo keep the rfc and visa news coming and anyone who has appled in july can you give me updates on yourselves thanks.

Inshallah Shazia you get your RFC tomorrow. We applied on the same date. Please do duaa for me that the visa is granted. This wait is worse than the previous 5 months now.

There were 2 reasons for rejection ( so I have been told)
1 There was a letter from her husband's prospective employers stating they were willing to offer him a job on his arrival in the UK - instead of supporting his case, this letter went against him
2. My friend is self- employed there were no salary slips -
hence the VISA was rejected.

He was an overstayer in this country, apparently there was no reference made to this fact.

Salaam all I'm new to this but I just like to clarify when I check status of application on gerry's do I put the application number that my wife got through text? Btw I applied on 4/7/12 still no reply In Sha Allah we will hear good news soon.

Sorry to hear that. Well in first case that is actually a strong point to have an employement offer before hand. But that needs to be supported well by documentation. In regards to 2nd point she was not suppose to have payslips as self employed an sa302 ,self tax assessment forms will suffice as
proof plus through valid B/S showing credit flow. Hope that helps

Just to let you know, My cousin's wife got her RFC on the 26/11/2012.

They collected the passport today and Alhamdulillah the visa has been granted.

I checked online today again and nothing!!
Its exactly 5 months now since I have applied. Just wana ask those who got responses - do they update the status online 1st thing in the morning or later in the day? I mean I've checked just once a day everyday - should I check later as well?
