She submitted all documents other than the original certificate KET (A1 computer based) on 15-April-2015. Latter on after receiving the original certificate we escalated the case with UK high commission through UKVI. They kindly provided us permission to submit her certificate at Gerry’s office. She submitted her certificate on 19 or 20th May 2015. She received her case delayed email last week but all April applicants have had their reply wither processed or delayed much earlier than her delayed email.

Please keep me in your prayer and I will update you as soon as we collect the passport.

My spouse applied on 15 April but submitted her English certificate on 20-May-2015 to Gerry’s office in Islamabad. I think they consider her application from 20th may. I may be wrong. That’s why it took so long.

Here is all my timeline,
VAC on 14-04-2015 in Mirpur
04-07-2015: it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO).
08-07-15: found that a decision on your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being conducted
08-07-15: Application was escalated
15-07-15: 'Initial checks/pre assessment completed. Application is in Entry Clearance Officer’s queue for further assessment.
27-07-15: Application is currently in progress
05-08-15: Escalation reply
'Your application is under process. We are waiting for results from UK
authorities. We will update applicant via email as soon as a decision has
been made and her documents are ready for collection.'

25-08-2015: Escalation reply
'Unfortunately, the situation regarding your visa application remains
unchanged and we are still awaiting the outcome of routine checks before we
can resolve your case.'

29-08-2015: Escalation reply
'Initial checks and pre assessment completed. Further assessment/checks are
being carried out by the Entry Clearance Officer. Application is in queue
for further assessment and checks/enquiries.'

01-SEP-2015: Processed email

Keep me in your prayer.
Is 20 May when your wife submitted her biometrics + passport and all documents or JUST her English test certificate?

hI SALAAM GUYS,

quick question, i have submitted my application. My wife biometrics are in next couple of days could someone tell me

1. what documents does she need to provide from Pakistan to me (other than all supporting documents) - i was thinking original application signed by her and dated ( does she need to send ORIGINAL biometric receipt??) or anything else

2. Do i need to send all documents myself ( in UK) with prepaid envelope??

Thanks in advance

Hello

My mrs went to Gerrys yesterday and they told her to print out two application forms-signed and date it.
One copy of it, passport and two passport size photos -they will keep it and the other copy she will send it to me so that i can send it with all other supporting documents to sheffield.

They also told her to just bring the print out of biometric. I scanned and emailed it to her so she has taken print out but on safe side you want to send her that - U can but please do verify all stuff again

Plus many members in previous two pages of the same thread have answered it in detail as well :)

Hope it helps.

Usali just being curious what intended date of travel did your spouse put when filling out online visa form?
Was it 3 months roughly from application date?

Aoa,
What is the date of application, i mean is it the online submission date or the biometrics date? From when does the 28 days rule apply? Ppl here are saying it is the online submission date but as far as i have searched it is the biometrics date. Thanks in advance.

Wow! Mashallah you are one of the very lucky few. That's crazy. It has taken one month for my documents to be received in Sheffield... :?

Aslam-o-Alikum,

I wish and pray that all people who have applied should get positive reply very soon.
Here is what I noticed on Immigration health surcharge website ‘Request Refund’ option has disappeared today. I am sure this option ‘Request Refund’ was there yesterday. does this mean I am in safe side? I understand that we would be hunder percent after collecting the passport.
I have not received any refund into my bank account or any refund email.
We received the processed email yesterday but not had any email for collection yet.

Thanks for reply,
Biomatric date is 15-April-2015 however we submitted englis certificate a month latter. My application may have requeued after the submittion of certificate wiicis 20-MAY. this is only my own theory, I may be wrong.

@ nasir, things look positive, but really dont tie too much hopes until u actually see the outcome,
@naheed, it depends on what you have submitted, also a bit on ur luck, i know two similar cases, one received to call from ECO to clarify / send amended letter other received a plain refusal, may Allah swt help us all,
