Salaams Ali

How's it going? Made anyone bankrupt today? lol

So, did your wife ring the Gerry's? Heard anything back? I hope it's either no news or good news, (the third kind is not very nice)...!
I was also wondering if you've managed to figure out what the tracking number looks like and where to find it?

Thanks

Sammie

Walaikum-a-salaam

It depends on the type of visa you're applying for. Have a look at this link: http://www.ukvacpk.com/visafees.aspx

Assalamu Alaikum Rani

I've not heard anything yet but that is to be expected as the 10 days repsonse time is not up yet.
I'm getting kind of concerned and worried that something may have gone wrong with his application as, when I enter his passport number to track the application, I get an error and he tells me that he was not given any other number. So, I've asked him to go into the Gerry office on Monday and just check up on his application.

Will have to wait and see what Monday brings...

Have you and your husband "prepped" for the interview? You need to make sure that you will both respond to the questions with the same answers!! Good luck!

Will make Du'a for you and your husband (and for everyone else here in the same situation).

Take care,

Sammie

Assalmu Alaikum all,

I wish you all the best of luck - I got married in Nov 2006 and my ex-wife applied for a Visa in Dec and had her visa by Feb 2007.

So I pray for you all - Inshallah it'll be ok as this is the blessed month of Rabi-al Awal and Thursday is Eid Milad Nabi Sallalah Hulayhee Vasallam!

Peace!

Walaikum Salam Sammie

The computer no is not updated on the site, even after people have collected passports it shows in process so don't worry at all about that.

I think Inshallah you will have good news today, I think you have a high chance you may not even need to be called for interview.

My husband will be questioned according to the papers right? Obviously I've never spoken to the ECO!

Let me know how it goes,

Take Care

Thanks for the positive vibes DRS. I need all the good vibes and Dua's I can get!

Not necessarily. They may also ask your husband questions like, who’s your sponsors best friend, or what car (if any) does he/she drive, and then they may call you (obviously while he is still in the interview room) and ask you the same questions. But they will only do that in cases where they don’t believe the marriage is real, due to lack of communication, no evidence of having met prior etc. I don’t mean to scare/worry you, I just want you to be as prepared as and as “in the knowâ€

I wouldn't worry about what the Gerry staff say, as you said, they're just glorified couriers.

What number did you contact them on? I tried to call them using the number on the website, but I got throught to a "Allied Bank".

Wasalam,
I know what you mean; this wait is killing me...!! Since my Husband handed in his application I’ve been so stressed. This wait is worse than the one I had to endure whilst awaiting my degree results at the end of 4 years of blood, sweat, tears and sleepless nights!

Watch this space, will keep you updated!
