Hello, I have posted all my supporting documents to Australia for my husband to take with him to his biometrics appointment. I wanted to submit them at a VFS centre here but my solicitor advised me to post them to Australia as there were a lot of ‘’scanning issues’’ and a lot of visas being refused because of mistakes made at the VFS centres whilst scanning documents.

I think you & your solicitor are over thinking. When in near past the members were sending documents through post then they were even committing more mistakes. Many members sent 6 months of payslips & documents but they refused on grounds of not being received them. New system is more faster and efficient where HO don't need to photocopy again where this mistake I guess originate.
Hmm probably so, thank you!

Biometrics/Documents Scanning

Post by anonymous1999 » Sat Jun 15, 2019 12:30 pm

Hi, following my partners biometrics being taken (this Monday), how do I know whether they have been submitted? I am panicking a bit after reading someones topic stating that their biometrics were not enrolled and they had no idea!

Also, does the printed online application, document checklist and payment receipts need to be scanned and uploaded or are these just to take to the biometrics appointment. There is also a page where the applicant signs, it is a declaration that the documents provided are true, does this need to be scanned also?

My husbands biometrics appointment is on this Monday and I am worried as the VFS centre in Canberra, Australia has terrible reviews.
