The reason i am asking is that my wife's father is critically I'll all of a sudden and she wants to go and see him at least once

She can enter the UK up to the date her visa expires. Whether the IO will give her a hard time, who knows.

One more query. What is the rule, should i submit the application online before the visa expires or should i need to complete biometrics appointment before the visa expires ?
