The approval letter came by 2nd class post and took 10 days for delivery. I guess the family applications take more time. Mine was for 4 family menbers, 3 Adults and a child.

Some people I know have been waiting since november. My mum and I applied a week apart early dec and both still waiting 2 months later. My sister's only took 6 weeks including passport application. I'm guessing it all depends on who is handling your case or on how long third parties get back to them regarding any requested information on you who knows
