Yes even my immigration consultants asked me wait till end of this week. What they told me was in April the results were coming until 21st. So end of this week we should get some direction on the cut off probably.Sara Iqbal wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 3:36 pmThis is my first time as well... my employer told me to wait for the whole week....is it true that they take time or they email only to those who qualify...?
Why is it making me feel that 55 is the cutoff for this month . Since last month people with 50K got an exceptional approval outside the monthly allocation cycle
Dear mm do you know what exceptional circumstances did your employer requested the home office ?
I don't know exactly. But my job is in extremely rural area where nobody is willing to go. And because of this his business was getting suffered. I guess this can be a reason.
I guess we will know by this time tomorrow since they have dealt with the 55s today and probably 50s come up tomorrow. People with 50 points will get their results and can update on here.
I want to agree with this. When you start seeing loads of 55 exceptional circumstance it gives a hint that the cut off could be 55. I know I know I know it's still really early to assume but this has been a trend for the past 6 months, I feel like I've become a HO mindreader!! I would like to be proven wrong though...
Yeah it goes by points and higher points get their approval first and so on. So I wouldn't bother the employer until end of day Thursday at least.Duysu wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 3:36 pmHi Everyone,
This is my first and hopefully final attempt at a CoS. I have been followinf this board for some time now and just have a quick question. Are the applications in order by the points? For example, would higher numbers get their approval sooner than those with lower? Are they staggered with their approval?
Just asking so I know whether to bother my prospective employer and ask about the status.
This waiting is killing me!
Last month it was 46 and March was 56Shoukat771 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 5:46 pmI tend to agree with you. I think we should hit 40 this month. Sorcially when last month was 56 and before that was 56. Fair bit of back log should have been cleared last month and jope that same should apply this month as well, as the allocation number this month are nearly similiar as last. Just hoping it does go to that.
Request anyone within 75 and 55 pts, and yet to receive approvals, please acknowledge. I am within this range, and didn't receive the approval yet, so bit concerned. Thanks.prax123 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 3:40 pmBased on the posts, today we had approvals for 75 (max) and 55 (min) points. Does that mean anyone who has points in between, and not received the approval, should be concerned? In my view, the Home office will be allocating RCoS in descending order of points. Any info would be helpful.
Yes, I am. I have 55points... Waiting..prax123 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 6:21 pmRequest anyone within 75 and 55 pts, and yet to receive approvals, please acknowledge. I’ve noticed that too. I understand that the stress would eventually get to people but like you I’ve been at this for 6 months, also having been ripped from what I now consider my “home”, was left jobless, etc (although I do have a job now as I predicted in January that this wasn’t going to be a quick path). So I do understand the stress.engineer201832 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 2:19 pmThis is my sixth month applying (employer has redone RLMT) at 31 pts.
I've followed these feeds for the past six months and gone through a lot of the same stresses you all feel. I've lived in the UK for two years before running into these issues so I really feel like I've been pulled from my home, I have SUCH an attachment to this country.
Honestly this is the first month that the tone has really changed in this forum. People are really getting stressed out from this process and it is really unfortunate that this situation has brought out such anxiety in people, I wish the government could understand this.
Just know that you are not alone (especially those who have had to retry for months now) and I absolutely feel your pain and am harnessing all my hope and good vibes for this to turn around for all of us.
Stop speculating, guys!Hopeful42 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 8:46 pmOh also: if there’s two approvals at 55 points now being granted “exceptionally” that’s a fairly strong indication that the cut off is 55.
Like a previous month it looks like they had to borrow some from June and grant some exceptionally outside the quota to get the whole band across (I.e. there were too many at 55 for the whole band to fit in the normal quota but less than 100 so some could be borrowed from June to get the whole band in).
One being granted exceptionally at 55 points was reason for concern but nothing conclusive...2 at 55 points being granted exceptionally is another matter given what we’ve seen happen with this in a previous month.
"There may be compelling circumstances where a CoS can be granted
exceptionally, before the next allocation date. Applications will be considered
on merit and in line with relevant policy. It is not possible to give a full list of
circumstances that might be defined as ‘compelling’, however approvals
should be rare. Examples might be:
• where delays caused by us resulted in a newly licensed sponsor needing a
CoS for a migrant who is due to start work before the 11th of the next month
• a consultant surgeon has been recruited and needs to be appointed at once
because patients need life-saving surgery before the 11th of the following
month

as per the guidance, "exceptional circumstances" are for applications submitted after the deadline but need to be considered within the cycle.
Thanks for correcting.Hopefully the given pattern will bring the points up to 40 mark and there will be few more happy facesKrish08100 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 5:54 pmLast month it was 46 and March was 56Shoukat771 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 5:46 pmI tend to agree with you.
