The travel documents and other documents submitted when making the application were sent back by normal tracked mail (Royal Mail) while new biometrics were sent by DX so I too think it's your biometrics with DX now.

1. Has anyone used the online application in combination with UKVCAS centres to submit evidence/documents the service provided by Sopra Steria?

2. If so has anyone used the priority service (5 days) or super priority service (next day) service for a SET(P) application?

3. Would UKVCAS centres take copies of documents, or retain the BRP and Convention Travel document originals to be sent to H.O.?

4. Is it okay not providing a national passport when this is held already by Home office? (applicant has "blue" UK Convention Travel document)

P.S. Good luck and spirit to anyone waiting for answers on their SET(P) applications.

Hi all, I am new in here but I have been following this forum for a while. I have applied my set p application mid September, I know maybe it’s a bit early to get a decision. Feeling very anxious and thought maybe someone else has applied that same period who I could share feelings and waiting anxiousness with. Would appreciate if anyone can talk to who has applied mid September.

I have done my biometric 2nd week of October and applied by solicitor. Not sure if my solicitor has received any progress emails yet! As I said, very anxious and worried! Appreciate if I could possibly speak to someone with the same feelings.

Hello All
New to this forum. I think I am jinxed or something as it's been 2 years since I applied and still waiting, here is my timeline so far

Posted the application : 16/07/2016
Got Acknowledgement email: 11/09/2016
Received Biometric letter: 09/01/2017

Then 2 emails same thing in both that " we are actively looking into your application but due to complex circumstances it falls outside the regular processing time"

It's so frustrating that I wrote to my MP but they had the same response from HO

Please advise what should I do? Should I just keep waiting.... Looks like forever wait.
Saying all this me and my family has lived in UK for around 14 years to date. 😢😢😢

Also, if you withdraw your application and your visa has already expired, you will be an overstayer.

As you said, you applied by post (paper form) and you don't know, hence would show intent to withdraw and reapply (bad idea if 5-year leave has already expired, as already stated). How would you know there is no priority option based on the new online application and UKVCAS system?

Is that just your opinion or do you base this on real recent online + UKVCAS application experience (after November 2018)?

Good afternoon people

I am a silent observer.

I am sharing my timeline below:

I and my newborn bay have applied SET (P) application on 15 october 2018 by post.

It was received by HO on 16th oct.

I received acknowledgement by email on 31th October, 2018

and received BRP letter on 1st November, 2018. We have done our BRP on 3rd of November 2018.

Home office has sent a standard email on 30th November 2018 stating their time frame.

Wish we will get a good result and you guys also who applied and are currently waiting .

Good morning
Dont worry about it if your asylum claim and reason is still VALID and also u did not
commit any serious crime.
Many things home office needs to check regarding any applicant so my advise not to over think about it and just wait and pray if u have still serious issue/s and asylum reason is valid ,no need to worry,i know some of members who got thier ilr after many months, some of even got 14 months. so b patient.
GOOD LUCK
Dear salsabeel,

Thank you for your reply. Thankfully my asylum is still valid and i have never commited crime. however, i do have a county court judgement, but that was a civil matter of non payment of rent, but during that time i was in the process of my refugee/asylum application. and i was granted 5 years stay. does the effect this. i got my brp in 2013 july. and this judgement is april 2014, but i was never aware of it as i did not go back to the same poroperty where i was living.
Well,
Did u send them all required dacuments? did u fill form by own?Did u sort property rent issue although it does not effect ur set(P) application if asylum reason is VALID,but above issue will effect ur next stages(naturalisation application) under good character. so my advise not to worry and wait.its really beazy time too, overloaded work on home office, also backlock files all r factors delaying decesions and taking time to process applications. BEST OF LUCK.
EDIT
one thing more, when i applied i did not receive any email on monthly bases, also myone took more than 5 months to get ILR so have patience
it has now been 5 months and 1 week and i still have not recieved a decision... please help anybody??

Hi Guys,

can i please request, I received a letter from home office saying:

Dear XXX

We aim to process all the applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within 6 month target.

This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision. We will update you with a decision as soon as possible.

playing with lifes no change in their attitude. ILR applied in September 2018. After three months below letter sent. It’s clear they want to ruin immigrants life’s. They fixed the time that complex issue will not be resolved in next three months too.
“We aim to process a all application within 6 months....unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6month.
We expect to make a decision on your application by 10 June 2019 ....😭
