Hi there - I was token 104 on the 25th April, and still waiting. I attempted to ring through on Tel 08706067766 but after several minutes was only able to speak to someone processing postal deliveries. He advised me it was impossible to speak with a case worker and the only way to contact the PEO office was by fax 02081963248, which I was also unsuccessful in contacting (busy / no signal). Good luck and would be interested in hearing if you get through!

Hi Chathul

I was off in the morning and tried 4 times and there was no answer. However there was a recording saying they are unable to provide progress on the application for less than six months. Working all day tomorrow and busy not sure I can try. You would think that premium numbers are there to reduce the number of calls. I am fed up with UKBA to be honest.

Yes I'm one of the people unfortunate enough to have pleasure of turning up at Croydon at 8.30 this morning only to be told at 2.30 that all appointments have been cancelled - good bye , here's your money back, try your luck getting another appointment and given a lovely apology letter addressed to 'Dear blank'

I had very low expectations coming in today but this has surpassed all my pessimistic expectations. Visa expiring in 2 weeks, travel plans in June and with next to zero chance of getting another appointment. The least they could do was guarantee us another appointment but I've walked out of there with a receipt refund and not much else...

I'm at my wits end!!

ohh sorry for you, thats not a good news.
What I suggest is don't wait until they give you a new appointment date. Whatever happen be aware you need to apply before your expiry date. Alternatively you can apply by post or if you are happy to pay you may contact agents and they should help you with appointment dates. All the best.

This definitely was my worst case scenario... will see if I can get an agency appointment otherwise into the black hole of postal applications I go
