My appointment was at 11am today. We got there at 10:30. The staff at Solihull PEO were so lovely! my visa was approved by 2:30pm. The process was so simple and easy. It is definitely worth the £400 extra. I don't think i would have managed the stress of another postal application!

  I prepared a photocopy of all these documents and arranged in the same way and handed that file along with the application form and the main supporting documents file.

6. Absences more than 180 days in any of the qualifying years.
In the last 5 years, I only had 86 days of absence from UK so I was way below the threshold, however, I still provided a letter (written by myself) detailing all the Exits/Entries and the reason for those and put it undex ANNEX - K, right above the documents. In order to support it, I provided copies of the following,

• All my E-Tickets (easy to get them from email - not a hassle)
• A photocopy of all the pages of my passport where there was an Entry/Exit stamp

7. Any Additional Comments.
Appointment time : 11:00am
Arrived : 10:30am
Amazing workers, really friendly environment. Security Checks were performed upon entering and hardly took 5 mins and then was asked to go upstairs. Went upstairs and at the reception, you're asked the following questions,
Name , Date of Birth and First 2 characters of your postcode
Then you are provided with a ticket number which will work for the whole session while you're there. We were asked to wait in the waiting room. Here is an image of what the office looks like from inside,



The Additional documents I provided to support my application (along with their template images) are as follows,

Total time taken for the whole process was 2hrs, I stayed in and got it easily, In the end one of the Assistant Case Worker called us and gave us (me and my wife) the good news and asked us to check the biometric information and informed that we will receive the BRP in the next 10 working days, so yep thats about it ...

I am married to a BC and have been living in the UK since 2010. if you have ILR and are married to a BC (and meet all the other requirements), you can apply for naturalisation once you have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.

Can I ask how do we claim 20 points for the degree? When I use points based calculator, I see 20 points for salary and 10 points for english. I donot see at any place '20 points for degree' as is required for the ILR application. (ILR application requires 20 points for degree and 10 points for english).

I just realised I was filling point based calculator as Tier 2 application and not as ILR. However, there is no option to use this point based calculator for settlement.
Now I am really confused. I have already taken an appointment and need this printout showing 20 points for degree and 10 for english. I am sure my degree will earn 20 points, as it is present on the PBS calculator. However, it doesnot show any points for degree it shows only 10 points for english.

Please point to the right direction. Would Highly appreciate it. Thanks

As a workaround, please select Tier 1 general, it should do the trick.

SET (O) form for ILR based on Tier 1 General and you don't need to show the specific points however you need to verify if your qualification is in the UK database or approved by NARIC?

File verified : 2:16 pm (V IMP => The lady confirmed with senior case worker about my daughter VISA as her mother was not applying with her. After confirming she asked my wife passport & VISA. Collect all doc and asked me to wait for fingerprints)
Finger Prints Taken : 2:30 pm (After that asked us to wait in cafeteria area. We waited there for 2.30 hrs
Call from Case worker : 4:00 PM (He asked an undertaking letter from my Wife about my daughter VISA. It says that my wife does not have any problem with my daughter applying ILR with me)
Case ready for collection : 4:50 pm
We were out : 5:00 pm

My take :
1. Even though I was less in few docs but rest of the docs are in proper place (for last 4 year with same company)
2. If you are applying with a minor and you partner does not have ILR, don't forget to take your partner to VISA center along with her passport + BRP

My appointment was at 8am, Biometric done at 08.30 and we were informed about decision at 10:30. The whole process was very smooth and staff in Glasgow was very nice.

Things to note: I asked my HR to provide a letter for my UK absences but I was told they can't give such letters. After so much of discussion they agreed to add lines similar to 'Mr. XXXX has taken XXX days in the last 5 years and all were paid annual leaves' in employment confirmation letter. I then explained about these leaves and UK absences in my covering letter.

@hsr1972 : If you have demonstrated the degree in your previous extension then you do not need. Taking PBS summary would fullfil that anyway. Although I attached my degree + PBS self assessment along with the option "already proven degree in initial application"
If you don't want to attach to keep it simple, atleast take it with you...In case caseworker might need ask to see it

Income Requirement: None (as she came to UK in 2007)
Residential Requirement: 2 years (as she came to UK in 2007 and switched to FLR(m) before 6th April 2014). 2 years stay combined her stay as Tier 1 Entrepreneur Dependant and Tier 4 dependent.

She was called to the desk after 2 hours of attending bio metrics.

No questions were asked at all.

They gave ur all documents back with approval letter and bio metrics card will follow soon.

I am really pleased to inform that by God's Grace, I was granted ILR on Saturday, 1st Nov. 2014 at Croydon PEO.

I am really grateful to all the moderators, members who have been sharing their time and knowledge to make this platform a blessing for all of us.

Experience was worth every penny. Staff were courteous and helpful.

I was let in at 7.45 am even though appointment was for 8.40 am and case was registered at 8 am sharp and Bio metrics done by 8.15 am. My token was the first to go under "Awaiting Consideration", but stayed there for upto 9 am and then changed to "Under Consideration" and bang at 9.30 am documents were ready to collect, and I was a free man.

Appointment in Croydon ay 0830 arrived about 0822 and went straight in. Fairly quick through security and then upstairs to the counter where booked in. Called pretty quickly to the next counter where all the documents are placed into clear plastic envelopes. Barely sat down when called for biometrics. All staff very friendly was given the option to leave or wait in the cafe. My case is very straight forward and no dependants so I jumped past a lot of other cases to be ready for collection at 0958. Massive improvement at Croydon from my last experience, took about half the amount of time. Much nicer there now and things seem to flow a lot better. Same day is worth the extra money as is using an immigration adviser.

Hi all,
I got my ILR on premium service from Glasgow on 8th nov sat. The case worker in Glasgow was very very friendly. My case was straight forward from tier 2 to ILR working for the same employer for five years and no dependents. here is the following things that I've submitted with my visa.

Appointment email Confirmation (they never asked for this)
Payment Sheet (first thing they asked for)
Application form including payment pages ( I filled in payment details too even though they took all my money when I booked for appointment)
Photograph (they only took one of the two photos)
passport and bio metric card
Letter from Employer confirming employment
Payslips for a year
Original Bank Statements for a year including oct 31st when I got my last pay in, important!
Life in the Uk test pass letter
My Indian Engineering certificate with Points based calculator print out showing my degree was worth 10 points for English language and 30 points for qualification. ( they really liked that)

Please note: you don't need this.
Letter from Employer with list of annual leave - they didn't even look at it. You don't need this.

Also other information which other people may find useful.
In the Absence from UK history - although I have been in the UK as a student from 2006, only from 2009 I had work visa. So I only put the first entry in to the UK 2009 date when I first got tier 2 visa. And all the absences from UK since then.
English language - You only need Indian degree with points based calculator print out. You don't need UK NARIC stuff as long as your degree gets 10 points for English language and 20 points for qualification in the points based calculator.

Good Morning All - Happy to let you all know that I've been granted with ILR this morning (10/11/2014) at Glasgow Premium Service Center.
The overall process took close to 2 hours but I have not met the case worker. The lady who did the case registered gave me the approval letter.

Visa - TIER 2 ICT ( straight forward 5 year route)

It was a nice experience and not much to comment as my interface with people was very limited.

@nit2k Congratulations , Have you not submitted your original Degree Certificate ? How did you prove your English language (KOL) and I heard P60 is not mandatory for Tier 1 Route ? Can you share the template for absence letter and Covering letter ? I have seen lot of members did not submit any P60? kindly revert back to me.
