Ok about the employer letter should it say about appropriate salary according to appendix J or should it say according to Tier 2 sponsors guide?
The letter I received my the employer says appendix J?
I know that’s a minor thing but you know Ukva wants everything in perfect format.
Please help someone?
For ILR based on Tier 2, the letter needs to state what the applicants ACTUAL salary is and this MUST be either £35,500pa or at least what is stated in the SOC in Appendix J, whichever is HIGHER.
according to appendix J or should it say according to Tier 2 sponsors guide?
Note that Appendix J
is the immigration rules. The sponsor guide is just that, a GUIDE.

Ok thank you you have been very helpful.
One last question about the absences letter:
It should only mention the dates my wife was off paid leave and went outside UK which was just 2 occasions in last 5 yrs.
But paid leaves were let’s say for 3 weeks but she was out of uk for just 1 week from that obviously the employer doesn’t know about this as they are not concerned what you do in your leave. So in the letter they mentioned 3 weeks paid leaves and it doesn’t mention that 1 week outside uk as they don’t know about it.
Is that ok?
Submitting the online form tonight.
Thanks

I am filling out the form but stuck at documents check list:
What to do about these?
Naric letter? Is it necessary now? My wife has her ielts but the form won’t let me go to the next page unless I check the box where it says I’ll provide Naric certificate?
For the period before you were granted tier 2, docs showing that you met the relevant requirements?
Again do I just check these 2 boxes and move on or do I have to provide these too? This online form is confusing.
Please help guys..
Thanks

1. If you are not using a foreign degree then don't put the details in. It is a degree OR English B1 from an HO approved test provider. Only complete ONE option of meeting English requirement.
If she is ONLY relying on tier 2 for ILR, ie has not held tier 1 for example and combining the two for ILR, nothing extra to provide so no issue if you tick it.

No she’s has her mbbs degree from Pakistan but has ielts which she did before getting her Tier 2. We have talked to many doctors and they all have used their old expired ielts certificates and got their ILR.
The form is not letting us go to the next page unless we tick both Naric and ielts options.
The form also says if we fail to provide every single document that we tick then the application will be delayed or rejected.

So if you read my previous response, I did say to only put one option for meeting the English requirement and not both!!
Expired IELTS can only be used if it is at the required level for ILR and it is still a test on HO current approved test provider list and approved test.

The ielts center is still in UKVA approved list and she did the academic version in 2010 and got a score of 7.5 which I believe is ok to use now?
Or do u think we should get it approved from Naric?

IELTS Academic is not suitable for ILR as it is only for a Student Visa application.
Either get UK NARIC UKVI red route (English assessment AND comparable to UK degree assessment) OR do a B1 IELTS SELT English test. Both cost £150. The B1 test is quicker, literally takes 10 minutes.

Ok thanks, yeah I think it’s better to do the test.

She passed her ielts B1 test and we have applied online last night but just realised I might have made a mistake in the form:
In the check list it asks to provide proof about how u got your visas before tier 2. I know its not relevant to us because she completed her 5 yrs on tier 2 but the form wouldnt let us go to the next page unless we check that. So I did ...is that ok?
2nd thing is the absences letter:
The employer would not confirm that she went out of UK because they dont know, so they just mentioned the dates my wife took paid leaves. This was only on 2 occasions in last 5 yrs. So the letter only mentions those leaves not before or after as she didnt go abroad in those.
Is that ok?
3rd thing is:
Employer letter is all done and looks fine they have mentioned the salary and that they still require her to work...but they mentioned " She is paid at or above the appropriate rate for the job as mentioned in the code of practice in appendix J."
is that ok or should they mention sponsors code of practice or something?
