Sorry can't help here as it was booked by fragomen all I have is booking confirmation from them. AFAIK they don't have any special access to the system.SNC114 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 8:08 pmHi YM1900
My application was submitted on 27th... but still nothing.
The email that you received from UKVCAS ... does it give you a special link that enables you to book an appointment ... or were you able to book your appointment by just logging into your UKVCAS account?
Thanks
No time limit during current circumstancesgebe_top wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 1:22 amHi,
May I know how long the time limit we need to attend UKVCAS appointment for biometric and document verification?
I have submitted my ILR application (Tier 2 route) and my wife has submitted her Tier 2 extension. but, due to the covid-19, we do not expect to get an appointment anytime soon.
so, how many weeks maximum we have to attend the appointment?
hopefully, in this situation the home office will understand and will give us sometime to get the appointment.
cheers,
someway to clear the backlog, but i am wondering if they will create a timescale of the previous biometrics. may be they will choose who ever has applied and gave their biometrics within the last 6 months or proabably 1 year !. maby be they might not invite applicants whose biometrics are older than an year . just speculating.AnILRApplicant wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 3:49 pmUKVI Guidance has been updated
If you’ve given your fingerprints before
If UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) can reuse the fingerprints you’ve already given, you’ll be emailed with instructions on how to send them an image of your face and your supporting documents.
This will mean you do not have to attend a UKVCAS or an SSC service point appointment to provide biometric information.
If you cannot send the information through the instructions given, you’ll be able to book an appointment.
MODS, that would mean most people applying for ILR will not need to go in for an appointment, correct?
Could you please paste the official link? ThanksAnILRApplicant wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 3:49 pmUKVI Guidance has been updated

Finally Homeoffice adopted your idea. Have you received another email asking for your photo?buntyc wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 10:07 pmHi,
I have paid for Bio metric appointment. I got a mail from WandSContingencyCaseworkDocumentReturn@homeoffice.gov.uk to send them requested documents.
I have done so. Any one who has got the mail from WandSContingencyCaseworkDocumentReturn@homeoffice.gov.uk and have got any update on the next step please let me know. What is the home office planning? THey do have my bio metric from one and a half year back. Can they use that?
Does this mean UKVI emails will be only sent to those who recieved email from WandSContingency team? Are those applicants already identified by UKVI then? as not everyone received emails from WandScontignency team!!gc362952246 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 6:54 pmFinally Homeoffice adopted your idea. Don't know, All I know is W&S team stands for work and study so it makes sense they only deal with Tier 2 related ILRraj_262920 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 8:52 pmDoes this mean UKVI emails will be only sent to those who recieved email from WandSContingency team?
