Type - Postal
Date of submission - 8th April 2011
Date reached HO - 9th April 2011
Date of debit of credit card - 14th April 2011
Date of receipt of acknowledgement - 21st April (Dated 15th April)
Date of receipt of approval - 26th May (dated 20th May)
Date of Ceremony - 08th June (Public)
Date of appln. for passport -
Method used -
Date of Receipt of documents -
Date of interview -
Date passport received

Lionking007 and t4tahir after both of your's suggestions I just called UK BA . They said that decision was made on 24th May, but no letter has been sent out yet. But again I am not excited until i get letter in my hand. Previously couple of people had the same response ( decision made ) but after couple of weeks when they called again it was awaiting allocation again . lol

Congrats... Call your local council and check with them if they have received the certificates..

Yes I did, approval letter dated 24 May it arrived today, but when i phoned for the first time on the Friday 20 May they said it was yet to be allocated to case worker!!!

mate you kno what when i applied for my Tier 1 few years ago, after i got my visa and passport i called home office just to see what they will say and answer was still in progress!!!!!!!!!

I had the same experience with my ILR last year

. thank u all for the help. according to HO letter i should not contact to the local Authority until i receive an invitation letter.As i have seen on this forum that some applicants have booked ceremony without invitation letter. Can i contact to the council for ceremony booking? if i can. what information will council ask? and do u guys know the birmingham citizenship ceremony department phone no? if anybody knows, would u let me know please. many thanks

you are welcome. thats why your application was quick coz sombody told me they seperate the application to different sections and then deal with them if straigt forward then quicker and if alot more check need to be made then it takes time anyway you got it thats good and now pray for us and wish us goodlluck lolz

Hello all
Got my approval letter today along with my documents, they used the special delivery envelope I used
My timeline is
Postal application - march 11
Reached HO - march 14
Money taken - march 21
Acknowledgement received - march 23
Approval received - may 27, exactly 11 weeks

Good luck to all those still waiting, especially Ferrari, I have a feeling u will receive yours today

I just check my royal mail special delivery tracking number, it's still saying come back later. I think I will get letter after bank holiday.
