Has anyone who applied after 15 March received the decision yet?
From 13th April, HO expects to process apps from 19 March onwards.

It seems HO is taking a week from start of consideration phase to deliver (though 13 March is a single sample point as of now). My app was received on 26 March. I hope it enters the consideration phase on 20 Apr.

Thanks Ramesh. You guys are incredibly supportive.

congrats to all those who've got their visa and all the best to those waiting,

I have a quick question. - I applied for my tier 1 visa on 23/03/09 and demonstrated more than £800 from 20/12/08 to 23/03/09 everyday -

I have since maintained that balance everyday in my account - now i am really short of money and am thinking of withdrawing some money from my account - would i be okay since i have already submitted my application>?

thanks for you help !
It's generally advisable to maintain £800 in ur acct as per HO guideline although they ask for 3mths statement prior to date of ur application. U need to demonstrate that u have sufficient funds to support urself, so best to ensure minimum balance in ur acct is £800.
Good things come to those who wait.................

Aspirant09..
In your application do you think anything which is not straight forward n may require checking from HO?? If you think there is something that might require checking than waiting is the only solution and not to worry...

mine was also WP--> Tier1 n took 1week more than usually other guys who applied during the same time.. but never been to AFC.. try to call them again and chk status.. sometimes it quickly changes from AFC to UC..

Hi
I have not sent an Urgent treatment letter to HO. Mine is quite straight forward so it didn't take time for me.

Personally i dont think there should be any confusion, but i can understand if case worker is taking little longer as i have used Indian as well as UK earnings and I am not sure if Uplift ratio should have been used at all or not? Apart from that i dont think there should be anything confusing.

I tried calling this evening also and the status is still AFC.The lady on the phone could not tell anything else.

Yes, thats' the no.. you need to redail again and again and again sometimes if u r lucky you will get connected on 2-3redails or 9-10redails.. but after that you will be in queue for 5-9mins so dont be surprised on being kept in queue.. there are lots of ppl dailing in each day.. so it makes sense..
i donno of any email id status reporting.. goodluck

Good luck Chetan, just a quick question....are you aware of any verification done with your employer by HO? Just checking how often do they do employer verification as my employer hasnt been contacted yet.

Thanks
