Hello. Glad to hear that your EUTR1 journey is nearly over!

I applied as a German citizen and my spouse is South African and we have adequate resources. Our timeline is identical to yours with the exception that we have not yet received our approval letter.

My spouse has a pending employment offer given the fact that her temporary stamp 4 expired on the 31st January. We have had no response to any attempts to renew her temporary stamp.

Does the approval letter state that the recipient has the right to work? Do you go through the process of IRP renewal (3 month waiting list) or re-register at burgh quay?
Hi, my wife was actually authorized to work when we received the temporary permission and IRP back in September, that's what the Stamp 4 allows.

We did not re-register in Dublin, we submitted an IRP renewal form online along with a scan of the permission letter. It might take 12 weeks to get it, i really don't know.

Sorry to jump in on this post but i need some help.

My husband non EU been and I been in Ireland 7 years, he got the residence card back then - Stamp 4EUFAM- last year he applied for renewal and got a renewal of 1 year, this year in February he submitted another request for renewal.
Today we got an email asking for additional documents - NEWER EURT letter, because last year this was not asked we completely overseen the fact that we should had applied for the EUTR3.

His IRP card is expiring in May so that leaves us with less than 3 weeks to do the EUtR3 application.
We are gathering all the documents needed and hopefully Monday will be able to submit it.

My question is what implications can we face seeing that we just have a 3 weeks window until his irp expire.

I'm extremely nervous with this situation as was no way our intentions to forget about this step we just thought we didn't had to do it, as he has applied for citizenship, we thought there was no need for the 10 year residence and we could just renew it each year.

Thank you
