Can u tell me which english language u done? As my case put on hold becz they r saying english language provided by TOEIC/ETS provider is not valid. i did check alteast update that is not valid now but i submit my doc before that rule applied. its really upsetting after waiting eight months u come to know u r on hold on stupid base.[/quote]

My wife did City&Guild A1 test 2.5 years ago and she was told it doesn't expire. We used that test to apply and there wasn't a problem.

Ramadan Mubarak to all readers.
May Allah swt make it easy for us all

Most respectfully, I write you with reference to your email dated 20.05.14 in response to my email dated 13.05.14 in which it was informed that my wife's above application is under consideration and decision will be made in due course.

Please note that my wife applied online on 18.02.14 followed by submission of supporting documents and bio-metrics in person at UK Visa Application Center Islamabad on 27.02.14. My wife has submitted all the required supporting documents in support of her application and it was expected to be processed and decided within the period of three months. However, we have not received any decision until to date [3 months and 3 weeks by now].

I therefore, request you to kindly look into the matter and confirm me of the progress and current status of my wife's above application. Please grant her application for UK settlement entry clearance at an earliest as we are facing difficulties and passing our lives in isolation.

Hi everyone :-) i receieved this email from the high commission today, what does this exactly mean? Do they want a current bank statement?

I am an Entry Clearance Assistant at the British High Commission In Islamabad, Pakistan.
Your application is currently being assessed. We note that your husband has not submitted Up to date Bank Statement.
Please ask him to send this evidence in maximum five working days time to this address as E-mail attachment in word format.
Also do not change the contents written on top, in “subject” column of this mail as we have mentioned your case reference number there, which will help us to trace out your reply out of hundred of E-mails, which we receive each day.

Yours Sincerely,

send them the bank statement quickly as now they have opened your case and will stamp your visa after you send them the statement. this is very good news in a way. so if you could send them it in the days they say, you will get RFC soon inshallah.

Its confusing, because with the application we submitted 6months banks statements. I think they are asking for a current bank statement.

To JavKhan

The email you received is a positive response. They are giving you a chance to submit further documents. Just send them the documents they want. To me it looks like they want statements that you havent sent them, therefore any statements upto the current date send them more statements. Good luck
