If / when you obtain indefinite leave to remain (ILR) your baby will be entitled to be registered as a British citizen. Until then, he is not British - unless your spouse is British, or has ILR.
Guide MN1 on the IND website gives more information.

Congratulations! I suggest you have the baby registered with the embassy of your native country ASAP, then apply for the passport from the same and then get the UK visa (as your dependent) on your baby's passport unless, of course, either you or your spouse/partner have ILR.

I am doing the same - just became a father a few weeks back :)

Hi

Thanks for your reply,

Already i have started to process to get the indian passport (as my dependent)

Some case i am not able to continue work in UK,Is there any chance in the future he can enter here without my dependentcy or later stage using birth certificate he can apply british passport from india ?

What is ILR?

No, he/she will only be able to reside here if you get to the ILR stage (Indefinite Leave to Remain, which is permanent residency). When this happens, he or she will be able to become British, upon your request.

So, my advice is, hang on to your status until you secure your residency here in the UK (ILR), and as soon as that is secured, you can then request your child to become a British citizen.

As for you, after one year with your ILR (that is, as a permanent resident, with no limit of leave to stay in the UK), you can naturalise as well.

Regards

Rogerio
