Oweing Tax

Post by chelsea2014 » Sun Jul 07, 2013 8:11 am

Hi

I have just been told by HMRC that I owe them some tax refund for 2012-2013.

Issue seems to have occurred when I moved job middle last year and have been told this would be deducted from next years tax code.

Would this affect my ILR coming up first week in August at PEO?

Thanks

Providing you are not intending to evade paying tax, i.e. you will be paying it back, it shouldn't be an issue.

Lol I don't see how that can be possible since the company deducts the Tax and not at my discretion. So the fault should go to both companies and HMRC for not doing their job properly.

Regardless, I'm just telling you how it is.
