Will this laminated document will be a problem?
Thanks in advance for your kind reply.
Regards.
The guidance for naturalisation isn't clear on this.
It isn't even very clear on what is acceptable (apart from a British passport) in order to prove spouse's citizenship/right of abode.
It is clear HO doesn't accept laminated naturalisation certificates & also HMPO don't accept laminated birth certificates (for passport applications).
So in general unlaminated documents seems to be preferred.
Unless you apply for an official copy of the birth certificate the answer may be:
call HO helpline to find out what they do accept for evidence of spouse's citizenship
&/or
try it & see what NCS say/do with it.
