Provisional licence with spouse visa

Hi All,

My husband has been in the Uk for 6 months with a spouse.He wants to apply for a provisional licence,so he can learn to drive.I understand that he has to have been resident in the UK for 185 days or more to apply but the only thing I am worried about is getting someone to sign his D1 application form to confirm they know him.On the D1 application form it states that the person countersigning your form has to have known you for 2 years or more and they cannot be a relative or live at the same address as you.

Could someone please advise me on what to do here please.
