If your marriage was legally valid in Pakistan, then it cannot be registered in England and Wales.

Speaking from experience - it would be helpful if you could obtain an English translated copy of the marriage certificate (if you dont have one).

The bulky Urdu ones are a nightmnare and dont help you a lot in the UK!!!

it s not obligatory , just translate your mariage certificate into english thats it , if you want to register it in uk , go to your local registrar office and they will give you a form which you fill and you pay 20 pounds fee
