Does she have ilr or Ile??

Was her mother also in the UK with a spouse visa since 2015?

What official evidence of sole responsibility do you have?

Thanks for the reply.

My daughter was in India with my partner (living separately) while i living in UK and acquired British Citizenship (through Tier 1 ) in 2012. I later got divorced and I got her custody so i called her to UK to settle with me as dependent on Sole Responsibility basis (Paragraph 279(i)(e)) in Sep 2015. Initially she got Entry visa for 1 year which I got converted to ILR (settlement) in Dec 2016 as she entered UK on Sole Responsibility basis (below is her settlement visa). I now want here to acquire British citizen but not sure which form to apply. It would be great help if advise?

Thanks a lot, one last question i was about to fill the application, there are different categories i am not sure which one should i click. pls help below

Your parent is British by descent and lived in the UK or a British Overseas territory for at least 3 years before you were born

Your parent is British by descent and you and your parents (unless they are legally separated) are now living in the UK or a British Overseas territory

You were born on or after 13 January 2010 and your parent was serving in the UK armed forces

You were adopted abroad by British citizen parents

You were born before 1 July 2006 to a British father and your parents were not married

One or both of your parents is applying for British citizenship

Other - apply at the discretion of the Home Secretary

Thanks for your reply.

Still I am confused is it not the second catergory - Your parent is British by descent and lived in the UK or a British Overseas territory for at least 3 years before you were born.

You are NOT British by descent (born abroad to British born parents) if you applied to Naturalise as British in 2012.

Children born abroad register under Section 3(1) of the nationality act, which is the 'other - apply at the discretion of the Home Secretary' category.
