Hi All
I am going to apply for the ‘NARIC- ENGLISH LANGUAGE EVIDENCE’ as part of my citien application
However there are two options on the NARIC website which Confirms English language eligibility for Citizen applications.
1. English Language Assessment – fee around £59.
2. Visas And nationality statement – fee around £150
I’ve called NARIC who didn’t provided a clear answer and advised me that ‘Visas And nationality statement’ is designed especially for homeoffice and the format of ‘English Language Assessment’ is different.
Here is the exact wording from site for ‘English Language Assessment’
“The English Language Assessment confirms whether degrees taught in English meet level B1, B2 or C1 of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR). This may help you prove your language proficiency to potential employers, education institutions or professional bodies.”
It does say Level-B1 comparison and then it does not mention home-office?
Does anyone has experience of using any of these.
I’ve already got statement of comparability from NARIC few years back which of-course is of no use at this stage.
Regards
