October CoS rejected due to miss in RLMT

Hi,
My CoS application made on the 4th of Oct 2019 is rejected due to a miss in the advertisement that my employer had given for the RLMT. Since the new regulation does not require RLMT starting October, is there any way an appeal can be made? Is there any probability that the CoS will be issued? Thanks much in advance for your advice.

Hi all,

I missed mentioning that the request was for tier 2 general. The CoS application was for my spouse, who is currently in the UK as on dependent visa. Thought this information will be helpful. Once again, thanks much in advance.
