Switch From Tier 2 ICT to Skilled worker dependant

Hi Everyone,

I am currently working on Tier-2 ICT and my wife is on dependant visa.
She got a job sponsorship and is now ready to apply for Skilled worker visa, and I would like to switch to being her dependant.

1. At what time do I have to inform my employer about my new Visa?

2. Can I carry on working with my new visa (Skilled worker dependant) for my existing employer?

I read in other posts that I can inform my current employer once I get my new visa and I can carry on working but will have to let them know of my new Visa status.
But those posts were old and were with respect to Tier 2 General.

Hence I just want to confirm if anything has changed with the new policy of Skilled worker visa.
