Dear Experts,
I am applying for an ILR on the long residence route
I have been on Tier 2 ICT for the last 10 years. My spouse, who arrived in the UK 3 years later has been on a Tier 2 ICT dependent visa for the last 7 years, her visa expires in June 22.
Do I need to apply my spouse's visa along with my application or can I wait until my ILR application is approved? if I do have to apply kindly advise under which category the application should be made, she will complete 10 years in 2024.
Many thanks
A
They are expected to switch to the family/spouse route using FLR(M). No need to apply at the same time
Many thanks Zimba, could you also advise when can my wife apply for ILR based on the below details:-
UK Visitor Visa 06/06/2014 to 06/12/2014
Travelled to UK 25/07/2014 to 14/08/2014
Tier 2 Dependent visa (applied in India) 05/11/2014 to 15/05/2015
Travelled to UK 29/12/2014 to 31/01/2015
Tier 2 Dependent visa (applied in India) 06/06/2015 to 15/02/2017
Travelled to UK 05/06/2015 to 10/02/2017
Tier 2 Dependent visa (applied in India) 06/07/2017 to 06/07/2022
Travelled to UK 20/07/2017 and currently living here.
Would her ILR be also based on the 10 year route ? if so would the 180 days and 540 gap be applicable to her application as well ?
The reason I ask so many question is we might be a few days short and would have to apply for another extension as the FLR(M) if applied within the UK is granted for 2 years 6 months.
once again really appreciate all your help and guidance.
Best,
A
