Tier 2 ICT to ILR via 10 years route with a 180 day break

Hi Team,

Have went through the forum to find a matching scenario for mine but couldn't find one so posting this for your comments and advise.

Am on Tier 2 ICT visa issued in March 2011, travelled to UK in May 2011 and have been in the UK since and my Tier 2 ICT visa has been extended few times (5 extensions) without any break in the visa. However the current visa expires in Aug 2022 and also there is a break of 8 months in 2013 where I was outside of the UK before I came back in Dec 2013.

Question 1 : Will I be eligible to apply for ILR via the 10 years route as have been in the UK only on Tier 2 ICT visa for all these years ?
Question 2 : If I am eligible, assume I need to wait until Dec 2023 before I can apply as there is a 180 days break period ?
Question 3: If I switch to Skilled worker Visa now in 2022, will it impact my ILR as I will have 8.5 years in Tier 2 ICT visa and the remaining under the Skilled worker Visa ?

One more on the spouse & child dependants visa, when I eventually apply for the ILR :

- they will be on DV based on my new Skilled worker Visa and say is valid for 3 years. do they need to get a new DV once I get my ILR or can they continue on the existing DV until it expires ?

Reason I ask is when I apply for a new skilled worker visa should I apply for 3 years or 2 years, as I will become eligible by end of next year. Just thinking if is worth applying for 2 years or 3 years, as it will save some cost depending on the response for above question ?

- Also do they need to spend 5 years on the skilled worker Dependant visa before they will be eligible to apply for ILR ? or any past period spent in the UK on Tier 2 ICT is included for their ILR eligibility ?
