Dear All,
This is my first post on this forum, and I hope someone can assist me.
I am currently on a Private Life visa (10-year route to ILR), and my next extension (second one) is due in July 2027. My visa was granted in April 2022 on basis of 20 year rule , private life and also i declared my self to be a leaver and critic of religion.
I plan to travel to my home country in April 2026 for about 20 days. Since my visa was first granted, I have already made two trips to Pakistan — one in 2024 (23 days) and another in March 2025 (50 days), which was extended due to flight cancellations caused by the India–Pakistan conflict.
I would like to confirm whether it is acceptable for me to travel again. Will I face any issues or questions when re-entering the UK? Could these frequent trips affect my future visa extensions or my ILR application,
even though I remain well within the permitted absence limits?
Please note that all my visits are to care for my elderly and unwell mother. I have no other siblings in pakstan and am responsible for arranging her ongoing care in Pakistan.
My ties will pakistan will only last till she is here as being a secular closeted apostate i would never be able to settle down their.
I sincerely appreciate your time and any inputs.
