SET(M) ILR – Director Question Clarification

Hi everyone,
I’m completing a SET(M) application for ILR (5-year spouse route). In the financial section, there is a question:
“Are you a director or non-executive director of a limited company based in the UK?”

I’m a bit confused about who “you” refers to in this context.
The applicant is the wife.
The financial requirement is being met through the sponsor’s (husband’s) employment income.
Does this question refer to:
The applicant (wife), or
Thesponsor (husband) whose income is being relied upon?
I initially assumed “you” means the applicant, but since this appears in the financial/employment section, I’m not completely sure.
Would appreciate clarification from anyone who has dealt with this.

'You' here means either you or your spouse. Note that the answers on the form should not be treated as full disclosure

You being a director of LTD does not matter if you do not want to claim any income from that company. If that is the case, you do NOT need to answer that question. If you do, you get a confusing document list asking for company income evidence, etc, as the online application system assumes you or your spouse want such income to be considered as part of the application.
