Unfortunately I cannot comment in this topic anymore but if you can update there that the applicant got ILR it might help others as well who were querying on the same topic.

The amount of free advice I have got from this forum/website is far far better than paid consultations from immigration lawyers who charge in hundreds of pounds but still cant give any concrete answers. The level of confidence of the moderators in this forum is great. Their expertise and knowledge is probably the best.
