Documents for Passport

Hello,

Question. My family and I are in the process of applying for our passports after naturalization, and among the list of documents that need to be sent, there's these:

-the passport used to enter the UK
-any current or expired passports from other countries that haven’t been cancelled

I am a bit confused though, which is the "passport used to enter the uk"? is it our current passport? or the passport used for the last entry? I for example, renewed my passport last year and I haven't travelled abroad since. We only have one current passport at the moment.
