ILR and Community Resolution

Not sure if this is the right place to post but just want to share a quick piece on community resolution as I did a fair bit ammount of searching on various forums but couldn't find useful info.

So I got a community resolution (Traffic related) in July 2024 and applied ILR in Aug 2026. I declared my community resolution as this is shown as out-of-order in the form so I selected yes for that question. And the way I articulated this is simple as this is not a conviction nor on the record.

I applied for priority service however there was something wrong with one of my materials. I did not get any further question on this community resolution thing and received my deceision in 10 days.

Thought I want to share it here as there are quite some useful info I searched and benefit from this forum.

5.6 Community resolutions
A community resolution is used for less serious offences or anti-social behaviour. It is a tool which enables the police to make decisions about how to deal more proportionately with lower-level crime and is primarily aimed at first time offenders where genuine remorse has been expressed and where the victim has agreed that they do not want the police to take more formal action.

A community resolution is not a conviction but may be relevant to consideration of whether the person is a persistent offender or should be refused leave or have their leave cancelled on non-conducive grounds.
