Invalid Photograph - URGENT ADVISE NEEDED !!

Hi,
I submitted my application for Tier 1 General today evening (23rd Nov) and within 2 hours i realised myself that the photograph would be invalid as i had a obvious SMILE . The application would reach UKBA by 1 PM tomorrow. I am wanting to contact the home office tomorrow morning to inform them about the photograph and advise them to not start processing my application . I would send them appropriate photographs by day after. I'm not sure if i'll be able to get thru the contact center and if my request to hold up the application will be accepted. PLEASE ADVISE!!

Alternatively, I was thinking the only way i can stop the home office from processing my application(deduct fees) is to CANCEL my bank account (luckily i have two different accounts to show my maintenance funds and direct debit for Visa fees) so no money will be taken off my account no matter what ! Do you think it is advisable to do that ?? In that case will it affect my future Visa application (coz i'll reapply again as soon as i get my documents back)...and how long does it normally take to get the documents back..?

I'm sort of in a desperate situation coz i have to react within a day. Any help/advise is much appreciated... Thanks Muchhh !!

It is too late to realize that you were smiling. You may wait for reference number and then send recent photos to HO as additional information.

Could you pls tellme
1) In case of invalid photographs i read from the forums that the case worker normally calls/mail and request new photographs OR the appln is marked INVALID and FEE REFUNDED . Are they cases in which the REJECT the application (no refund) coz of invalid photo ??
2) How long approx does it take to receive the reference number ?
3) Is there a format you would advise for the covering letter ?

I would send the additional photographs as soon as i receive the reference number.
Btw..I called up HO today and they said nothing can be done until the payment is through.. in the meantime the payment is e-marked in my account so it would obviously get thru in a day or so.
