Regarding the entry within 1 year after Tier 1 stamped date

Hi,

I'm not sure, whether I can post this topic here.
I've got the EC for Tier 1 visa valid from March 16, 2009 and valid till March 2012. But due to my family issues I've not traveled to UK till now. I heard that if the immigrant does not entered to UK at least one time within an year, the visa will be lapsed and again he should apply for the visa.

Request you to confirm whether the above is correct or not, so that I can make arrangements to travel this February.

If not, request you to please reply the contact numbers, where can I get the information regarding the same.

You can enter UK till your visa is valid.. there is no restrictions on it.. but on your entry pls make sure you have some answers ready for your late entry asked by the Immigration officer why? incase..

But there are others things that you might need to know like:
1. Next extension eligibility
2. ILR
3. Earnings for the extension etc.
