Limited Employer Response

Post by dday » Thu Mar 16, 2006 9:16 pm

My former employer will only confirm my name, job title, salary and period of employment. I was hoping to supply most of the detailed job description and then have publicly filed documents printed out as support with url links to the US SEC web site where the publicly filed documents may be accessed. What else may I do to demonstrate my graduate level work experience as a Chief Financial Officer for a publicly traded company?
Thanks,
fred

Would the public accounts of the company assist you? Certainly those would confirm your role more vividly than the employer's bland letter.

URL links? Do we know if the staff dealing with HSMP applications have access to the internet in a way that would enable them to see the webpages linked to?

While it's not the same item being evaluated, I expect that since job vacancies printed from websites that may not be as recognised as the website referred to are accepted as evidence, the print outs with the url links PLUS explanation in candidate's cover letter would be good evidence.

The published accounts would also complement.

If you can, provide the two.
