Query about professional referee

I have asked few questions here about professional referee, and i have one final query hoepfully.

One of my friend is registered dentist, but she left a job as they were moving from north to south and recently gave a birth to child and didnt try for a job when they moved to south so will be out of job (not on leave) for few more months. Would that be ok to get this friend as professional referee

it doesn't matter if she's out of work at the moment...they are looking for credentials.

Just to be safe I called HO as well and the advisor said that is ok. I have mentioned this here just in case anybody else has the same question as me.
