Tier 1 General Extension - Age Conflict!

Post by Rizahidam77 » Mon Sep 26, 2011 1:25 pm

Dear Board Members,

Writing on behalf of my dear friend.

Initially, he applied for his Tier 1 Gen. visa at October 16, 2010, by this date he was making 20 age points. After long delay his application was declined in March 2011 for the reason of using an unqualified accountant to assist within UK. Since the requirement about type/level of accountant was changed in December 2010.

He sent a request in March 2011 for Admin review mentioning that the Accountant was correctly used, susbsiquently they accepted and issued him a visa with 20 age points as per first application date i.e 16th October 2010.

Now Question is: If we count his two years leave starting from visa issuance date in March 2011, he is gonna loose 10 points of age in his extention application. OR can we assume that the same 20 age points going to be given regardless the fact his first leave was decided in delayed manner under an admin review???

Thanks for help and comment.

Kind Regards
R Solungi

Ask your friend to read the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance. How points for age are to be awarded is explained in there.
