Woops, 2014... luckily the date is based from the expiry of my initial application, not when the extension was granted

You will be lucky to find an appointment 2 weeks out. They get released 6 weeks in advance at midnight most nights, and are gone in about 2 minutes

Great tip, thanks

I also recommend calling them and attaching a phone number to the delivery, as apparently they "attempted" to deliver my BRP today but could not gain access to our building, which would have required ringing my house number on the keypad.

Just to update, I called UKBA and was strongly advised not to do this. I won't be able to enter the UK under my initial Tier 1, and entering under a visitors visa may invalidate my Tier 1 extension.

Looks like I'll just have to sit it out.

I had a Same Day PEO appointment for Tier 1 extension last week. Like you, I thought all my documents were in order, and my application was straight forward (no dependants, no previous passports, no criminal history, no Ltd Company - just plain old salary). I was informed on the day that my ...

Re-entering UK before BRP has arrived?

Hi all, I have my passport back from my application, but my BRP is to be delivered on Monday. Unfortunately I have to start work in another country as soon as possible, so I was wondering whether I can leave the UK on Sunday, and re-enter next weekend on my existing Tier 1 (or even a 90 day visitors ...

Out of curiosity

- What nationality are you?
- Had you given biometrics for your initial application in your home country, or here in UK?
- Were you claiming the same qualifications from your initial application?

My understanding is that they had to respond to your queries after 14 weeks. 12 months is ridiculous.

I would urgently be seeking legal advice if I were you.

PEO @ Croydon Experience Report - Application pending?

Just a quick heads up on my experience at Croydon earlier in the week. I had an appointment at 8am to extend my Tier 1, so turned up at 7:15am hoping to be first in line. To my dismay there was already 10 or so people in the line. However, the security guard came out 10 mins later and split us up ...
